Grandma appeared
Grandma: Aman, it’s already 8 PM. You should finish your
homework before bedtime.
Aman: (focused on game) I’ll do it later grandma, please don’t
disturb me for now.
Naina: Grandma, I’ve completed my school assignments, do
you want any help with the dinner ?
Aman: Oh Stop Bragging Naina !! Why do you always have to
show yourself better than me ?
Grandma: Aman !! you should also work hard like your younger
sister instead of talking in that tone with her. Hard Work now
will save you later, remember this.
Aman: Oh I don’t have to be a bookworm !! about the school
work, I’ll catch up to it later
SCENE 2
(Classroom)
Mr. Sharma enters the class with a surprise test and everyone
wishes him
Students: Good morning sir !
Mr. Sharma: Good morning children, put your books away, we’re
having a surprise test today on the last chapter
Aman: (panicking, whispering to Raj) Bro I didn’t study
anything, I thought I’d catch up this weekend.
Raj:(shrugging) Me neither. We’ll wing it.
The test goes poorly for Aman, the whole class passed the test
even Raj but Aman couldn’t and Mr Sharma was highly
Disappointed as he collected his paper. Mr Sharma asks Aman
to stay after school
Mr Sharma:(scolding Aman) This is what happens when you
don’t prepare regularly. You can’t build a strong future with
these poor habits.
SCENE 3
(LIVING ROOM)
Aman sits frustrated, after a lecture from Mr. Sharma. He
gets lost in thoughts while staring at a pile of work when
suddenly, his future self appears
Aman: Oh I hate going to school, why do I have to do so much
work ?
Future Aman: Hey kid, listen
Aman:(Surprised and shocked) WHO ARE YOU !? HOW DID YOU
GET IN !?
Future Aman: Calm down, I am you from the future.
Aman: Is this some kind of joke !?
Future Aman: No, believe me, I’m you years from now, and I’ve
come to warn you. I ignored grandma’s advice, just like you are
now, and I paid the price.
Aman: What do you mean ? It’s just school… I can catch up
whenever I want.
Future Aman: That’s what I thought too. But without Hardwork
and discipline, I struggled to get a good job, and I regret
wasting all those opportunities. Grandma’s advice was about
building habits, not just doing homework.
Aman: But why should I trust you !?
Future Aman: Just focus on your studies and habits, You’ll see
the difference. Your future and my present depends upon you.
