EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

ARTICLE 1: PREAMBLE
This agreement defines the general duties and rights of employment for
AMAL ARTS in accordance with civil labor law.
This agreement between AMAL ARTS and DAMARIS MWENDE MUSYIMI,
issued on 22-Oct-2024, is a mutually agreed contract that stipulates the
employee's responsibilities as outlined below. The employee has accepted all
duties, and the contract will be legally binding.

ARTICLE 4: PROBATION PERIOD


 The probation period is 3 months from the start date.
 During this period, the employee does not accrue leave or other rights.
 The employer has the right to dismiss the employee if the performance
is not satisfactory during this probation period.

ARTICLE 5: CONTRACT DURATION


 This contract is an open-ended contract in accordance with the labor
laws.
ARTICLE 6: WORKING HOURS
 Employees work 6 days a week with 11 hours per day. Except the
holiday which the employer confirm that day, and mention by his table
work.
ARTICLE 7: EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE OBLIGATIONS
EMPLOYER'S OBLIGATIONS
AMAL ARTS will fulfil its obligations under this agreement to the best of its
ability; among its obligations are the following:
 To give the employee all the rights of the employee as stipulated in
this agreement.
 Payment of the basic salary monthly and allowances with single
payment on the 01-05 of the month.
 Providing a suitable work environment (Conducive environment).
 Considering the reasonable complaints submitted by the employee.
EMPLOYEE’S OBLIGATIONS
 The employee must comply with all company bylaws and policies.

ARTICLE 8: SALARY, ALLOWANCES, AND OTHER BENEFITS


 The total amount that the employee shall receive by monthly is
$350, which is consolidate payment and it shall paid as follows

 Payment will be made as a consolidated payment at the beginning of


each month. Therefore the employee shall receive additional benefits
such like housing, internet, food and water. And those extra benefits
will replace overtimes.
ARTICLE 9: LEAVES
 The employee is entitled to national leaves with accordance the labor
law.
 The employee is allowed 45 days of sick leave per year without
needing a doctor’s note.

ARTICLE 10: GOVERNMENT TAX


 A 6% government payroll tax will be deducted from the employee’s
salary each month.
ARTICLE 11: TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT WITHOUT NOTICE
 The employer has the right to terminate the contract without notice if
the employee violates key contractual terms such as insubordination
or unethical conduct with accordance act labor Somaliland.
ARTICLE 12: DISCIPLINARY MEASURES
 Disciplinary action will be taken for minor offenses, starting with an
oral warning, followed by a written warning, and finally termination if
the employee does not improve.
ARTICLE 13: TERMINATION AND RENEWAL OF THE CONTRACT
 Both parties must give 30 days' notice for termination or agree
otherwise. If the employee leaves without notice, they will forfeit their
salary for that month.
ARTICLE 14: FINAL AGREEMENT
This contract is governed by the labor laws of Somaliland act no 31/2021,
and all provisions outlined here are legally binding upon signing.
