Glass mosaic, consisting of 20x20 mm (3/4”x3/4”) and 10x10 mm (3/8”x3/8”) square bevelled tiles, mounted on paper or mesh, depending on the item and format (10x10 mm only on paper). The Smalto (SM) collection is made by adding coloured enamel grit to the molten glass. The Le Gemme (GM) collection is made by adding coloured enamel grit and Aventurine to the molten glass. Also available in a MATT version: classes A+B+C as defined by DIN 51097 matt and non-slip (wet-loaded barefoot areas) with the technical features indicated at point 4.

6 INSTALLATION For proper installation, the substrate must be a perfectly smooth, even, white surface, and must be cured, dry, A sound and stable.
- Interior screed or plaster: we recommend using Bisazza Ad Hoc+UItra* adhesive
- Other types of substrates: we recommend Bisazza eGlue adhesive - For swimming pool and exterior installation, we recommend the Bisazza Pool Installation System (Ad Hoc+Ultra adhesive and Pool eGrout epoxy grout) - For installation on swimming pools with salt water or thermal spring water, use epoxy products only: we recommend the Bisazza Epoxy Pool Installation System (epoxy eGlue adhesive + Pool eGrout epoxy grout) and waterproofing with epoxy membrane. - For installation of the most transparent VTC colours (see list below), all of the 10x10 mm decorations, Shading blends 10x10 mm and all of the artistic technique decorations, we always recommend the Bisazza Epoxy Installation Kit (eGlue epoxy adhesive + Fillgel Plus epoxy grout); for swimming pool installation of these collections, use the Bisazza Epoxy Pool Installation System (eGlue epoxy adhesive + Pool eGrout epoxy grout). Grouting B For the best results and performance, use Bisazza Fillgel Plus. The grout colour will affect the final aesthetic appearance of the installed tile. A colourless and semi-transparent grout, Fillgel 1104 neutro base must be applied with special care. Because it is colourless, some yellowing occurs when exposed to sunlight (UV radiation) which becomes more noticeable with time. This is why Fillgel 1104 neutro base cannot be used for exterior applications or in outdoor pools. For pools and outdoor use, Bisazza recommends Pool eGrout epoxy grout.

7 MAINTENANCE Use ordinary cleaning products (except those containing hydrofluoric acid or phosphoric acid), for maintenance and cleaning of glass mosaic surfaces, taking care to rinse thoroughly with water. Alkaline detergents should be used cautiously and quickly rinsed off with water. Cleaning products should never be used on hot surfaces or those directly exposed to the sun’s rays. Avoid using abrasive tools and high-pressure water jets (pressure washing).
8 WARNINGS The colour of mosaic tiles is never perfectly uniform or even. Slight chipping in some tiles is a characteristic feature of the product. Also, please note: it is impossible to guarantee that tile colours in subsequent orders will be identical.
