VI. OBJECTIVES OF THE ACTIVITY:
This program aims to provide our students with adequate nutrition while they are active in
learning through the distribution of hot meals, as well as the milk feeding of children.
VII. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The resource speaker is Ma’am Mariz M. Pantalunan. She discussed her topics in an excellent
manner. All teacher-participants and the learners understood the topic and the significance of
nutrition which extends beyond the health component and is pertinent in a wide range of
contexts.
VIII. Problems Encountered:
The school-based feeding program creates a heavy workload for the teachers.
IX. Recommendation:
The school head assigned teachers to assist the feeding coordinator.
They set schedules for those teachers who will help on packing and distributing the meals.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT OF SCHOOL BASED FEEDING PROGRAM
The School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) at San Roque Elementary School began in the primary
grades. The majority of primary levels are still unable to take use of the SBFP due to a number of issues,
including inadequate infrastructure, unpredictable weather patterns, and poor resource management. Our school
has stepped in to support the SBFD with FPTA, the private sector, and NGOs as the school aims to minimize the
role in order to turn the SBFP into an autonomous program.
San Roque Elementary School is also a recipient of the said program. There are 50 recipients, pupils
from Kinder to Grade IV levels. It started the first trance for feeding in October and ended in December 2021.
This program has provided complete nutritious meals to the schoolchildren, following the developed
standardized recipes. Furthermore, the School Health Division obtain to supply Milk Feeding Program. In the
school alone, they have helped 50 beneficiaries. The program will continue together with meals. The School-
Based Feeding Program provides hot meals/nutritious food products and milk to undernourished K-6 public
school learners to encourage enrollment, improve classroom attendance, provide nourishment for growth and
development, contribute to the improvement of their nutritional status, and help boost immune systems, and
enhance and improve health and nutrition values. The healthy meals provided are expected to contribute to the
readiness of the learner to participate and benefit in the
education process, complete their elementary education, and improve their nutritional status.
It keeps us moving forward while we look for the most effective way to maintain the feeding program
is the instant difference we have already made. Parents began to thank us for our feeding program within the
first week of it being implemented. The number of students enrolled in the school has also increased, and the
headmaster told us that students are now more engaged in their studies. Even though it can at times feel like an
impossible task to feed over a hundred children at school, we hope that this is just the beginning of something
truly wonderful thanks to the unwavering support of our donors and well-wishers.

As the pandemic spread out through the different parts the globe
and affected the different sectors of the society, the educational sector is
one of its severe casualty. Educational institution in the different parts of
the country whether public or private were put into a halt to prevent the
spread of the virus. The school scenario shifted on how it used to be over
a short span of time. The giggles and healthy noises coming from the
learner’s eager to learn and explore the world were not heard since then
but after two school years without face-to-face classes, the empty halls
and corridors of public schools nationwide will once again be filled with
students Monday, Aug. 22.
In line with this San Roque Elementary School conducted an
Orientation for the parents as promulgated in DepEd Order (DO) No. 34, s.
2023 titled School Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2023-2024
last Friday-August 19, 2023. Ma’am Mariz M. Pantalunan facilitated the
program. The meeting started with an opening prayer lead by Ma’am Ivy
Joy Dio the newly installed MLSB teacher of the school at exactly 2:00 PM
in the afternoon. It is followed with the singing of the National conducted
by Sir Marvin M. Miranda. Ma’am Zoila M. Pineda, PhD the school principal
welcomed the parents with his inspiring opening remarks. After the
opening remarks the following teachers discussed the different topics that
enlightened the parents on the content of DepEd Order (DO) No. 34, s.
2023 as well as the preparation of the school for the coming school Year
2023-2024.

of the said topics. The meeting ended with a fruitful discussion of Ma’am
Zoila at exactly 4:30 in the afternoon hoping for a successful ahead.
