🔴 Week 1 – Speaking Task Assignment – How much

do you remember?

Hello everybody!

Now it's time for you to do the task for this week. Read the instructions below.
Remember that if you need to review a topic, you can always check the course material
as many times as you need. Keep in mind that you have to present this task during week
1.

1. Learning Outcome

Through this activity, students give personal information and talk about their
preferences using the grammar and vocabulary learned in English I.

2. Description
 Step 1: Individual task.
 Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes.
 Step 3: Prepare a 1:30 - minute.
 Situation: Today is your first day of work in a new job. Introduce
yourself to the people in the office. They want to know you. Share with
them personal information about yourself and about your preferences.
 Content:
 Personal information: full name, country, nationality, city, and
your age.
 Preferences: Food, music, and activities you prefer
(like/dislike/love/hate +noun, like/dislike/love/hate + verb
(gerund) in affirmative and negative form.
 And (coordinating conjunction)
 Step 4:
 Practice the monologue at a slow pace paying attention to the
pronunciation and intonation.
 Practice again and record the monologue.
 Remember to transmit your personal emotions during the recording.
 Step 5: Once you are ready, record yourself in multimedia on the virtual
platform or upload your video in Youtube/Drive and share the link in a Word
format on the platform.
 Step 6: Use the following structure:
 Cover: Your name and last name must be there. Include your photo.
There are 2 options to do it: (Choose one)

 Option 1: Inside your video, if you record it on the virtual


platform.
 Option 2: In a Word format with the YouTube link/Drive link.
Example of the cover:
