  7) All questions are compulsory. However, an internal choice in 2 questions of 5
     marks, 2 questions of 3 marks and 2 questions of 2 marks have been provided. An
     internal choice has been provided in the 2 mk questions of Section E

 23    In the given figure, bisectors PA and BQ of the alternate interior angles are          2

 24    The perimeter of a triangle is 50cm. One side of a triangle is 4cm longer than the     2
       smaller side and the third side is 6cm less than twice the smaller side. Find the
       area of the triangle.
 25.   AB and CD are two chords of a circle with centre O such                                2
       that AB║CD. AC is the diameter of the circle. Prove that

       A toy is in the form of a cone mounted on a hemisphere of radius 3.5cm. If the
       total height of the toy is 15.5cm, find its surface area.

      gardening activity. Gulmohar plants are planted around the boundary at a
      distance of 1 m from each other. There is a lawn PQRS at the centre as shown in
      the figure
