Step 2:
Select the number of grids, story height and following options as shown in screenshot below:
Step 3:
Select draw beams and columns option located on left and start drawing as shown below:
Step 4:
The beam has been drawn. Now, Go to the load pattern and define the imposed load as super
dead load as shown below:
Step 5:
Go to assign. Click on joint and select restraints. Click on fixed support for all as shown in
screenshot below:
Step 6:
After defining the load pattern. Go to the Assign and click on frame load and apply point and
UDL load as shown in picture below:
Step 7:
Now, For Joint Load, Go to the Assign and click on Joint Load and apply on joint as shown in
screenshot below:
Step 8:
Run the analysis on the Frame Structure and the frame structure will show some sort of
deflection as shown in picture attached:
Step 9:
For SFD & BMD, Click on the icon at the top and select the super imposed load as shown below:
Step 10:
After analysis, we Successfully drew the Shear force & Bending Moment Diagram. The Shear
Force and Bending Moment Diagram of the beam is shown as mentioned below:
