PROJECT PROPOSAL
EMPOWER YOUR VOTE: “ANG BOTO MO, ANG MAGIGING BOSES NG
PAGBABAGO”
A VOTER’S EDUCATION AND AWARENESS PROGRAM 2024

I. LEGAL BASE.

Pursuant to Section 1, Article V of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, Suffrage may be


exercised by all citizens of the Philippines not otherwise disqualified by law, who are at
least eighteen years of age, and who shall have resided in the Philippines for at least one
year, and in the place wherein they propose to vote, for at least six months immediately
preceding the election. No literacy, property, or other substantive requirement shall be
imposed on the exercise of suffrage.

II. OBJECTIVE.

1. To promote awareness on the electoral procedures;


2. To identify the importance and strategies of ditinguishing candidates

III. QUALIFICATIONS

1. All lawful residents of Barangay Hugo Perez aged 18-30 years old may attend the
Voter’s Education Program.
2. The attendees must be a registered voter of Barangay Hugo Perez.
3. They must also be a regitered Katipunan ng Kabataan Member.

IV. NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hugo Perez shall limit up to 60 attendees for
the said program.

V. FUNDING SOURCE.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hugo Perez shall appropriate an amount of


Php. 50,000 from the SK Fund for this purpose.

VI. BUDGET ALLOTMENT.

FUND ALLOTMENT
Php 1,000 Tarpaulin
Php 17,000 Food
Php 30,000 Program take-away (500 pesos per
person)
Php 1,000 Certificates
Php 1,000 Token of Appreciation for the Speaker

VII. PERIOD OF IMPLEMENTATION

The target Period of Implementation of the Program is on the 3rd week of December
2024.

IX. EVALUATION/MONITORING.

In promoting youth development, it is necessary to conduct such program that educate


the youth about their rights to vote and choose wisely.
