visiting to coffee shops, and hanging out with friends. On Vietnam Family Day 2020, we set such things aside to spend quality time with our families and cherish these once-a-year moments.
Vietnam Family Day is also an opportunity to reflect, spend more time with our small family to share, confide in, and care for one another, as well as to be reminded of the true values of family. We frequently forget how much we care about every element of life.

Different cities in Vietnam organize festivals with cultural and sports activities for families to participate in. Get your family together and attend one!
A festival of family culture is organized in Hanoi. This festival includes sports competitions, photo exhibitions and other events. These and other activities help families experience different Vietnamese traditions, like learning net fishing, planting rice and riding a buffalo. These traditional activities are mostly not experienced by parents and their children before, that is why Family Day is a good opportunity to become a part of Vietnamese traditions.
Gift an ophan
At Family Day events, it’s common for gifts to be distributed to orphans and children in need. The orphans will be overjoyed to receive these gifts and to be a part of the celebration.

You can always bring the family together to take photos and make a special card. It’s a great way to remember this special occasion in the future!

It is impossible to avoid snapping photos on such a significant celebration to preserve priceless
