Analytics Insights – Senior Analyst

Work you’ll do
Global Tools Delivery Center: Data Analytics –Analyst is responsible for developing data visualization dashboards
and advanced reports using any of the leading visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik and Alteryx.
Analyst will require to have data analysis skills using excel. Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating,
gathering and analyzing existing best practices and templates to develop cutting edge and data-driven insightful
dashboards. Analyst will also be responsible for developing and supporting new design thinking process and
related concepts in context of dashboard development.

Key responsibilities:
• Work independently on Alteryx workflows, should have expertise in data wrangling logics
• Prepare dashboards using data visualization and data wrangling tools
• Applies development framework, guidelines and standards to tools and ensure integrity and consistency
• Builds and promotes a global culture under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines
• Actively contributes ideas to develop solutions, consult others as appropriate
• Understands and assists in data analysis process, dashboard development and continuous improvement
• Provides improvement recommendations for process guidelines and frameworks to enable consistency across
projects

Additional responsibilities will include:


• Using Deloitte standards and templates
• Executing internal testing and user acceptance process
• Developing and maintaining internal project documentation
• Applies development framework, guidelines and standards to tools
• Provide process improvement ideas and enable consistency across projects

not necessarily want to change.

USI shared services team provides a wide array of services to the U.S. and it is constantly evaluating and expanding
its portfolio. The shared services team provides call center support, Document Services support, financial
processing and analysis support, Record management support, Ethics and compliance support and admin assistant
support.
Qualifications
Required:
• Educational Qualification: MCA, B.E. BTech, BSC Comp
• Technical Skill Set:
o Overall 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics field
o Hands on experience on Alteryx, should have knowledge on all tools in Alteryx.
o Well versed with data wrangling, ETL and data cleansing concepts
o Experience working on Data Analytics and Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
o Knowledge of R/Python would be highly beneficial: Basic understanding of these
statistical/analytical programming skills is necessary.
o Familiar with visual design and best practices of UI/UX, reports and dashboards and scorecards
o Sound understanding of excel basic and advanced functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP etc.)
o Understanding of agile software development practices and release of software products
o Knowledge in statistics and machine learning would be highly beneficial: The candidate should
have a strong developed mentality with a focus on measuring and metrics
o Knowledge of Quality processes & Dashboard Testing processes
• Business Skill Set:
o Role works in a global culture which is under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines
o Familiar with consulting role
o Must have Analytical/problem solving ability
o Trouble-shooting skills, strong initiative, critical thinking skills, detail oriented
o It is necessary to have strong Verbal and written communication skills

• Interpersonal Skill Set:


o Be able to combine timely and tactful influence to accomplish difficult tasks
o Have excellent communication skills with good oral and written communication capabilities
o Have thorough understanding and possess creativity to implement through technology
o Time management and organization skills
o Passion and the ability to learn new things
o Creative thinking
