30. ABCD is a quadrilateral in which P, Q, R and S are mid-points of the sides AB, BC, CDand DA (see
figure). AC is a diagonal. Show that

In figure, AP and DP are bisectors of two adjacent angles Aand Dof a quadrilateral ABCD. Prove that

Case study based questions are compulsory.
36. At the end of the 18h century, students in Europe and America were still using individual slates made of
actual slate or pieces of wood coated with paint and grit and framed with wood. Teachers had no way to
present a lesson or a problem to the class as a whole. So, in 1801, James Pillians made its debut by hanging
a large plate of slate on the classroom walls. The dimension of the blackboard were 30 m X 48 m.

37. Red fort, also called Lal Qila mughal fort in old Delhi, India. It was built by Shah jahan in the mid 17
century and remains a major tourist attraction. The fort was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in
2007. It is surrounded by a 2 km perimeter wall which is aced as an effective defensive measure.
