VP/Hexadecene Copolymer, VP/Eicosene Copolymer, Triacontanyl PVP. Vida-Care™ AVP-30 by Alfa chemicals acts as
a film former, pigment dispersant, SPF booster, emulsion stabilizer, viscosity/texture modifier and water-proofing agent. It
is a graft copolymer derived from vinylpyrrolidone and long chain alpha olefins. It is insoluble in water but soluble in
aliphatic hydrocarbons, ethers, esters, ketones, non-polar oils and mineral oils and partially soluble in alcohols, glycol
ethers and cyclic compounds. It provides rub/wear- and humidity resistance. It is substantive, cold-processable and
possesses moisture barrier properties. Vida-Care™ AVP-30 can be used to formulate sun care and color cosmetics,
barrier creams and hair styling creams. Complies with Cosmetics Regulation [EC] No1223/2009.
