Reading Program
12 STEM B DADOR
Session 2
Session 1 Session 3 Session 4 Session 5

The grade 12 STEM B program has a Reading Program with five

sessions that help students enhance their reading comprehension.
In session 1, before the program started, Ms. Cantor led the opening
prayer. After the opening prayer, Ms. Abanes facilitated the students
coming from 7 Lagarde and 7 Elnar. The STEM B class, including
four students, played the pass the message and guest me games.
Everyone is having a good time during the activity. Afterward, we
made the decision that some students who hadn't finished the
audiovisual presentation were going to finish their output in the
computer lab, and the rest would teach the four students. After the
evaluation, we gave participants a simple treat for participating in
our program.

In session 2, the flow of the program has not changed

from session 1, but there are differences in the
games and the students who attend the program.
There was one student in the first session who was
replaced by the new student who came in the second
session. Later on, the students played a spelling bee,
and they got a good score. The STEM B class
prepared small treats for the students who
participated in the program.

In session 3, The activity continued as the program indicated,

and another three students participated in our reading
program. Then, before we start our reading program, we play
a simple game called Jumble Word. Then we proceed to
teach the students how to read using our audio-visual
presentation. The students are fast learners, which is why we
didn't find it difficult to teach them. Based on the evaluation
that we provided, most of them got a correct answer.

In session 4, there were only four students who attended the

reading program, but in the STEM-B classroom. Unlike
sessions 1 and 3, the program was conducted in the Lagarde
7 classroom. The students are happy because of the
excitement to go into our classroom and because it's not too
hot there. Then we played an average-difficulty version of the
Jumble Word game because the students improved. After
that, we continued our reading session. Every student in
STEM B who handles the grade 7 students is in charge of
giving them a simple snack.

In session 5, the students who attended session four are

the same ones who participate in session five. For the
last session, we held our reading program in the STEM B
classroom. As usual, we play a game called spelling bee,
and we reward the student who joins the game. Then we
proceed to teach them to read and have an evaluation
after they read. After the reading program, we thank
them for engaging in our activity until the last session.
