Dispatch Script Dispatching
Dispatcher: His this is David from __________ Carrier
Service, How Are You doing today. Sir I'm Looking For This
Load Picking Up From Chicago IL To Dallas TX For Today
May I Know The Details Please
Broker: Broker will tell you the pickup and delivery date and
timings and commodity (product ) and weight , If not then :-
Dispatcher: what is the commodity and weight ?
Broker : its general freight 35k Lbs
Dispatcher: Ok So How much are you paying for this one?
Broker : $2500
Dispatcher: Can you make it $3300 On this one? (Tell the
broker at least $400-500 more than the posted rate)
Because My Driver Needs $3300 If you can do This Then
I'll Book It Right Away and if you can come close to this
amount I'll try to convince my driver. If broker agrees then
dispatcher needs to book the load to do the further process
and if the broker does not agree then --------Note: Put the
broker on hold and call the driver to negotiate the rate and
tell the broker that after negotiating with the driver I can
bring it down $2900 as full & final rate.
Note: Once the deal is finalized for the specific week then
complete the paper work including carrier packet if the
carrier is not setup with the concerned Broker's company,
receiving and signing the rate confirmation etc.
Then dispatcher will call the driver :
Dispatcher to Driver: Good morning Sir, How Are You

to Dallas TX tomorrow at 11am.
After getting all the paperwork done with the broker and
