1. ROS ( Robotic Operating System)
2. 30 Systems with server
3. Verification of direct kinematics equations and inverse kinematics equations of 1DOF
“Reconfiguration” robot.
4. Verification of direct kinematics equations and inverse kinematics equations of 2DOF “R-
Reconfiguration” robot.
Laboratory Experiments:
1. Determination of maximum and minimum position of links
2. Verification of transformation (Position and orientation) with respect to gripper and world
coordinate system
3. Estimation of accuracy, repeatability and resolution
4. Robot programming and simulation for pick and place
5. Robot programming and simulation for Colour identification
6. Robot programming and simulation for Shape identification
7. Robot programming and simulation for machining (cutting, welding)
8. Robot programming and simulation for writing practice
9. Robot programming and simulation for any industrial process ( Packaging, Assembly)
10 Robot programming and simulation for multi process.
Course Outcomes: The students will be able to:
1. Understand the evolution of robotics and automation
2. Explain different robot configurations, motions, drive systems and its performance parameters
3. Use of any robotic simulation software to model the different types of robots and calculate work
volume for different robots
Conduction of Practical Examination:
1. All laboratory experiments are to be included for practical examination.
2. Students are allowed to pick one experiment from each part.
3. Strictly follow the instructions as printed on the cover page of answer script.
4. Marks distribution: Procedure + Conduction + Viva:15 %+ 70% +15% ( for 100 marks)
5. Change of experiment is allowed only once and marks allotted to the procedurepart to be made zero.
