Grammar
1- Zero conditional ‫الحالة الصفرية‬
 Uses: ‫االستخدام‬
A. We use the zero conditional to talk about facts and things that are
true for us:
‫ واألشياء الحقيقية بالنسبة لنا‬:‫نستخدم الحالة الصفرية للتحدث عن حقائق‬
 Formation: ‫التكوين‬
We from it using if or when, and the present simple or a modal like can:

If ‫ إذا‬/When ‫ عندما‬+present simple ,… present simple/can + inf.
Statement

B. We also use the zero conditional to give instructions or make
suggestions. To do this, we form it using if / when and the
imperative:

2- Prepositional phrase ‫شبه الجملة‬


 A prepositional phrase is a group of words beginning with a
preposition, and ending with a noun or pronoun that the preposition
refers to, and sometimes an adjective. It doesn’t contain a verb.
‫ شبه الجملة هي عبارة عن مجموعة من الكلمات التي تبدأ بحرف جر وتنتهي بأسم أو ضمير الذي‬

lump of clay, and we chose what to make. I wanted to make a bowl.
First, the teacher showed us how to use a pottery wheel. Then it was our
