today is Waltz Dance,
We shall learn the basic steps in doing the
waltz dance, there are four basic steps of
waltz dance that we will be discussing and
doing for todays lesson.
But, before we proceed let us know what is
waltz dance and its history,
Waltz definition is a form of dance that was
initiated in Austria and Bayern in the middle
of the Classical Era (1730-1820). It is a
ballroom dance performed in triple time,
which means that waltz music has three
beats per measure, its dancers are in almost
constant physical contact in what is known as
a ''closed position”
History of Waltz Dance
The Waltz originated in Austria and Bayern
and quickly spread throughout Europe and the
Western world.
It was the most highly revered dance form in
the nineteenth century. The term ''waltz'' is
