Read the information given below and answer the following questions.

1. Installing an Alarm System


Most thieves/robbers will try to find out if an alarm is present before trying to break in. Installing an alarm
system, which will make noise if a thief tries to break in, is likely to make the thief look for a different target.
2. Putting up Security Signs
Signals of increased security, including alarm signs, dogs inside, security cameras are feared by most thieves.
Putting up such signs will make them think twice before targeting your home.
3. Keeping Mail Private
Thieves see large collections of mail and newspapers as signals of weakness. While away, it is best to make
sure your mail is hidden from the public. Ask a neighbour to take in your mail for you.
4. Ensuring a clear of view of the house
Houses with fences, large trees, or bushes that block the view of doors or windows are considered easy targets
by thieves. Make sure your house can be seen clearly from the street.
5. Installing Motion-sensor Lighting
Use lighting to discourage thieves. Lights that can sense movement/motion and switch on are useful. While
away, place a few lights inside the house on timers.
6. Informing Neighbours
Thieves will try to see if your neighbours are home. Ask your neighbours to keep an eye on your house when
you're away.

Wildlife includes all those plants and animals that live and grow in their natural surroundings. Wildlife is found
everywhere --in plains, rivers, mountains, seas, rainforests and deserts. Today, there are very few places left on
the earth where wildlife is totally untouched by human beings. Wild animals were present on the earth long
before the arrival of human beings. They have as much right to live here as we do. However, we, the human
beings are destroying the natural surroundings of these animals by cutting down forests and by polluting rivers.
Due to this, many wild animals are not able to live in their changed surroundings and are increasingly becoming
extinct.
