A. Introduction - Prayer to be led by the student.

- Recalling of the previous lessons (Elements and Principles of Arts)
- Presentation of the new lesson through a Guessing Game.
Directions: Look at the pictures of artworks from MIMAROPA and the Visayas Group of
Islands. Arrange the jumbled letters to form a meaningful word to identify the name of the
province of its origin.

Annotation:
The teacher will elicit ideas from the students about the picture flashed on the screen
through arranging the letters in their correct order.
B. Development - The teacher will ask the students about their prior knowledge about the Arts and
Crafts of Region IV-A (MIMAROPA)
- The teacher will discuss the Provinces composing MIMAROPA Region
- The teacher will discuss the characteristics and the different principles of Arts and
Crafts of Region IV-A (MIMAROPA)
Annotation:
The provinces composing Region IV-A are integrated in Araling Panlipunan. Also, some
but few arts and crafts of the region were introduced to them during their previous years.
The teacher let the students read and comprehend from the slides the characteristics and
principles involving arts and crafts of the region. Reciprocation of supplementary ideas
of both teacher and students will take place.

B. Engagement
The students are group according to their inclinations such as music, dance, poetry, and arts.
Each group will have a designated activity to do depending on their specialization. For music-
rhythmic group, they will create a promotional song; bodily kinesthetic will choreograph a
dance with infused steps from the region’s festivals; verbal-linguistic will compose and deliver
a poem containing their art appreciation to the region; visual-spatial will create a souvenir shirt
incorporating arts and crafts of the region. Below are the different rubrics to be used in grading
students’ performances.
Annotation:
The teacher uses differentiated activities to cater students’ interests and so they can
choose freely where they are good at.
Also, the creative use of language and grammar which is associated to their language
subjects.

Communicable diseases are those that can be transmitted from one
individual to another through various modes of transmission, whereas non-
communicable diseases arise from factors other than infectious agents. The
study of both communicable and non-communicable diseases within the realm
of science plays a critical role in advancing our understanding of disease
mechanisms, developing effective interventions, and improving global health
outcomes.
