PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT 2 INSTRUCTIONS:
This is assessment two (2) of four (4).
Note that you will have four (4) opportunities to complete practical assessments
in total throughout the semester, and only the highest two (2) scores will be
considered towards your semester mark.
   ✓ Practical assessment two may be completed in pairs or individually.
   ✓ Please use the submission link on blackboard to submit the assessment before
     the deadline.
   ✓ Kindly note that should you work in pairs, only one person needs to make the
     submission.
   ✓ No late submissions will be accepted.
To complete this assessment, you will first need to go through chapter two (2) (IMC
planning and implementation) and three (3) (advertising) of your prescribed textbook,
together with the unit 2 and 3 slides which are available on BB.
Generally, there are three types of marketing communication strategies. During the
class presentation on unit 2 (chapter 2) you learnt about two of these marketing
communication strategies.
   1. In your own words, explain the difference between a push and pull strategy.
      Make use of examples to substantiate your understanding of the above

Advertising is something we as consumers are exposed to daily. This can be through
various forms of media such as: television, radio, or social media.
   2. Briefly define and give examples of any five (5) types of advertising.
