 HOURS OF WORK:

• Working Time 09.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.


• Working Days Monday to Friday
• Weekly off Saturday and Sunday
• Lunch Time 1.00 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. Or 1.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Deputation a grace period of 10 min is given i.e. up to 9.40 am. Reporting after 9.40 am is required to fill the late register.
Attendance timing might differ for labs and site staff.

POINTS TO HIGHLIGHT - In case of extension of work or weekend working required for official work, employee need to
intimation to HR department and should get approval by respective Department Head in advance.
Site employees ( eg. Auditors / Inspectors) are requested to comply with the work schedule provided by department heads
/ coordinator.

Break Period In addition to the above timings, employees can help themselves for Tea/Coffee as and when require.

Note:
• Prefix, suffix – Prefix Suffix is applicable to Casual leave, Sick leave and Privilege leave.
• In case of emergency leave requirement, an employee must inform the Immediate Manager or in absence of Manager should inform to HR department.
• Employees who have joined during the year, Leave will credited on Pro-rata basis.
• Without information absent employee is considered absent from work regardless of the reason.
• To avail leave employees need to notify their Immediate Manager in advance (at least 24 hours except in case of emergency) for scheduling their absence from
work along with approval.

 12 Public holidays are selected every calendar year for each office by the Management. List is available

MEDICLAIM - All the employees will be covered under the Group Mediclaim policy of the company. Coverage will be for family
which would include self, spouse, 2 children up to the age group of 21 years.

 GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE: The GPA Insurance Plan for employees covers the employees 24 hours
under Accidental Death, Dismemberment, Permanent Partial Disablement and Permanent Total Disablement.

 ANNUAL HEALTH CHECK-UP: Company has covered all the employees under ‘Annual Health Check-up Programme’ –
(AHC). All employees will have to undergo AHC every year, based on the tests recommended at the specified medical
facilities as per the details available with HR Dept.

DRESS CODE – Formal and business casuals.
Employee should wear appropriate dress in or outside office in
working hours.

Monday to Thursday – Formals


Friday – Casual
Those are attending customers should follow formals.

Male Executives: - Full or half sleeves shirt of sober colors with or


without stripes, matching trousers and black or brown shoes.
Chappals / Sandals are not permitted.

Females Executives:- Sarees with full / half sleeves matching


blouse or salwar kameez or skirt and blouse or shirt/ top and
trousers of sober colors

While attending official functions and formal meetings will have to be


dressed formally.

Note: The above is the general corporate dress code. However


dress code may be modified keeping in view the area of function
and circumstances.

HR POLICIES
 INDUCTION PROGRAM :
 Every new joinee has to undergo an online Induction program to have different experience of Self Learning &
Information about TUV which need to complete in 15 days from date of joining. Link will be share by HR team.
On successful completion of the quiz new joinee receives a Certificate on his email.

 EMPLOYEE DATA MANAGEMENT :


 Employee’s personal record is confidentially managed by HR department and available to employee only on request
or to approved authority. In case on any changes in personal record, do inform to HR operations team so we can help
you and family in case of emergency along with this updated data will help in many steps in your span with TUV.

 PROBATION PERIOD :
 Every employee has to undergo a 3/6 months probation period depending upon the profile.

Annual benefits due to employees starts from the day of appointment. However, Benefits can be availed only after the
confirmation.

TRANSFER & TRAVEL POLICIES

 TRANSFER POLICY
 All employees are liable to transfer within India for Company work which in turn will benefit employee’s growth as well.

 BOARDING & LODGING ON TRANSFER


 Company will bear boarding & lodging expenses in an economical hotel for first week during which the employees are
expected to locate suitable residence as per grade policy.

 TRANSPORTATION ON TRANSFER
 The company will bear one time for the most economic charges for road / rail freight.

 TRAVEL POLICY
 There are cadre wise segregation of travel allowance – please refer policy for detail understanding

HR SCHEMES

 EMPLOYEE REFERRAL SCHEME


 Under this scheme, TUV India’s employees will get a Referral Bonus in case the candidate referred by them gets
selected for employment in the organization.

 EMPLOYMENT OF RELATIVES
 Employee’s relatives will not be eligible for employment with TUV India. In case of marriage between two staff
members only one can continue their employment with TUV India.
 Employees have to declare whether any of their relatives are employed in the organization at the time of employment.

 CAR SCHEME
 Car benefit will be provided to the eligible employee as per the Company Rules. Please refer Annexure TUVI-HR-Car
Scheme w.e.f 1st January 2021.

by the immediate Manager and send to HR department for review and approval.

SEPERATION AND EMPLOYEE EXIT PROCEDURE

Employee separation may be due to resignation (voluntary), termination (involuntary), death or retirement.
 RESIGNATION - All the employees have to give clear notice post resignation from current employment as per their
cadre. In case of shortfall will be settle against F&F after required.
 TERMINATION – breach of any disciplines mentioned in contract or is guilty of any misconduct or of any act of insobriety
or disobedience, TUV has liberty to terminate contract without ant notice period.
 RETIREMENT - All employees shall retire on attaining age of 60. The Management at its discretion, employee may give
yearly extension up to the age of 62 years.
 FINAL SETTLEMENT – all clearance need to be complete clearance from all required department. Based on inputs F&F
and relieving will be proceed. Salary from the month of resignation will be put on hold which will be paid with F&F
settlement with in 45 days.

 EXIT INTERVIEW - HR department will be scheduling an exit interview with the employee leaving the organization and
for facilitating the return of Company property. This is to understand your inputs which will help us in improvise our
policies.
