SUBJECT: Separation Fan
Brief:
Separation Fan for EZ (EV) 2/3/5 series has changed to the same one with MZ model.
If customers use low quality paper, Separation Fan may be locked by paper dust.
MZ type blade is bigger than EZ type.*
So it collects paper dust less.
*Refer to combination and compatible information.
Applicable program version:
EZ2/3 series => V1.23 (EZT-010) or above
EZ5 series => V3.02 (EZT-011) or above
Following test mode is added with applicable program revision.
[Added new Test Mode 1244: Separation Fan Selection]
Select the Separation Fan type. When you exchange the Separation Fan,
be sure to match the value of test mode 1244 with the Fan type.

Setting [0]: EZ type
[1]: MZ type

Modification procedure for field machine:
Changing the Separation Fan from EZ type to MZ type
1. Exchange the Fan to MZ type.
2. Exchange the Base Frame; Suction to 046-21301-301 type.
3. Upgrade program to V1.23 or above (EZ2/3 series).
Upgrade program to V3.02 or above (EZ5 series).
4. Perform test mode 1244 and select [1].
If you upgrade program without changing Separation Fan type,
it is NOT necessary to perform test mode 1244.
