METHOD STATMENT FOR MANUAL

CONCRETE CRACKS REPAIR IN APRON CONCRETE PAVEMENT


1. Scoope :
The purpose of this procedure is to determine the methodology for
implementation of a product that the company intends to use for repairing the
concrete shrinkage in the apron concrete pavement

3. Man power

4. EQUIPMENT
 Wire bruhing
 Drill
 Broom
 Putty knife

4. MATERIAL
 RHEOMIX 141 liquide is a styrene –butadiène ,co-polymer latex
 EMACO R303 powder
 Cement
 Water

5 .PROCEDURE for REPARATION

Support cleanning
1. Clean the area of the slab which have hair craks and apply wire brushing to
the cracks.
2. Wet the area with clean water to prevent hot sunny support

Mixting the components

3. Mix Rheomix 141 and water by ratio 1:1 at time 3 to 5 minutes by using
electric drill. of

4. Add Emaco R303 and cement to the Rheomix ( 5 liter of Rheomix per
50kg of Emaco or 10liter per 50kg if chemical resistance is needed ) till
reach the needed putty for repair and use also drill.
The mixting quantity not over than 10kg

Application of the mixed mortar

5. Apply the putty to the cracks. To fill the cracks and in the stickiness 6 mm to
60mm maximum
6. Use broom to have finishing as before on the slab.
7. Make sure that all the cracks are well filled
8. Apply the fresh mixed mortar do not allow any addition water in the ready or
old mixture
9. Clean all the surface of tooling
10. Curing after 24 hour and protect to dry slowly (see notice)

 Maerial to be approveds and in use periode
 Mixture to be in approved quantity
 Application to be conforme
 Ready application surface to be approved

 All labors to wear their PPE

 Safety toolings
 Cleanning of tooling and all surface in contact whith the matrial and the mixture
