5 After listening: during Guide Dogs Week the Guide Dogs Organisation wants
sighted people to experience a situation as a blind person would. You can
find out more about it here:
http://www.guidedogs.org.uk/news/national-events/guide-dogs-week-
2012/walk-my-way/

Along with Walk my Way there is Dine my Way:

“Invite your friends and family over for a meal with a difference -
hold a dinner in the dark. Cook your favourite dishes but keep
them a secret. When you serve your dinner ask your guests to put
their blindfolds on and guess what they are eating.
Their senses of smell, taste, touch and hearing will take over and
leave them with a new appreciation of how precious sight is.”

Why not have a go yourself and then try and write about
your experience, in English of course!
