Note:-
1. Video Conferencing / Hybrid hearing facility is available to the Learned
Advocates / Parties-in-person in High Court of Madhya Pradesh at
Principal Seat Jabalpur and Benches at Indore & Gwalior. This facility
may be availed through the link made available in daily / weekly Cause
List of each Court.
2. A list of Final Hearing Cases will be issued for every Court. They shall
be taken up on every Wednesday and Thursday from 2:15 P.M. On other
working days, these cases shall be taken up after completion of the
motion list.
3. Learned Advocates / Parties-in-person / Registered Clerks may file cases
/ applications / documents, etc. in physical form at the Presentation
Centre / Filing Counters. In addition to this, the cases / applications /
documents, etc. may also be dropped through Drop Boxes. Apart from it,

cases / applications/ documents, etc. may also be filed through e-filing


mode.
4. It shall be necessary to file application for urgent hearing only in pending
cases. However, no application for urgent hearing will be necessary in
freshly filed cases.
5. The mentioning of cases will continue in physical form through Drop
Boxes. All the Mention Memos shall be dropped between 10:15 AM to
11:15 AM in the Drop Box placed near the Presentation Center.
6. Learned Advocates / Parties-in-person are requested to submit Mention
Memos only in those cases, which are of real urgency. All such Mention
Memos shall be submitted by assigning brief, specific & pointed reasons,
which highlight the urgency.
7. The computer generated date as authenticated by the Principal Registrar /
Registrar (Judicial) of pre-admission matters, will be treated as Court
given date and the matter will be listed on that date.
8. Only those Mention Memos may be entertained before DB-I which
requires preponement of Computer Generated date.
9. No Mention Memos will be entertained in those cases, in which a fixed
date has been given by a Judicial order.
10. All bail applications under section 438 & 439 Cr.P.C. arising from the
same crime number of the same Police Station and applications/matters
for suspension of sentence under section 389 / 397 Cr.P.C, Section 53
Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2000 / Sec. 102 of
the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and u/s
14A (2) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of
Atrocities) Act, 1989 as amended by the Amendment Act, 2015, arising
from the same judgment / orders filed by the different applicants
separately will be listed before the same Hon’ble Judge(s) or as directed
by Hon’ble Chief Justice.

11. Criminal Revision filed u/s 397(1) and/or 401 of the Cr.P.C. and
Miscellaneous Criminal Cases filed u/s 482 of the Cr.P.C., bail
applications u/s 438 & 439 of the Cr.P.C. and other matter arising out of
same crime number and same police station and/or same case number of
Trial Court / Appellate Court and from the same Judgment/order shall be
listed before the Hon’ble Judge who decided the first Criminal Revision,
bail applications, M.Cr.C. and other matter or as directed by Hon’ble
Chief Justice.
12. Any matter which is not covered by the above note will be complied with
in terms of the direction of Hon’ble Chief Justice.
13. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Roster / Assignment, any
matter / case may be listed before any Bench as per direction of Hon’ble
Chief Justice.
