b. Differentiate the soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
c. Construct a song using soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

Our lesson for today is human voice or


tinig ng tao.

The ideal or best example of an


instrument is the human voice. The
human voice has a unique timbre or
sound quality. Every voice is unique
due to the natural thickness or thinness
of each individual’s vocal cords.

What is the best example of an


instrument again?

I’m going to continue my discussion.

There are four classifications of human


voice. These are Soprano and Alto for
women, Tenor and Bass for men.

Soprano – a classical type of female


singing and has the highest vocal range
of all voice types. They have a high
and thin, melodious and flowing voice
style.

Some of the famous singers in our


country who have this type of voice
are:

Regine Velasquez

Sarah Geronimo

Lea Salonga

Morisette Amon
Alto – it refers to the low tone of a
woman’s voice. Its quality is thick and
deep.

Jaya is a famous singer in our country


that has this type of voice.

Nora Aunor is an actress and a singer.

Tenor – the tenor is the high voice for

sound of all voice.

Jonathan de la Paz Zaens is a singer in


our country and have this type of voice.

Instruction: Identify if the person in the
