PROJECT PROPOSAL I. Introduction
Our nation will commemorate the 45th National Disability Prevention
and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week from July 17 to July 23, 2023. According to Proclamation No. 1870 (1970), as promulgated by Proclamation No. 361 (2000) and Administrative Order No. 35 (2002), the week-long event is observed every year to raise public awareness of disability issues and problems and to motivate all citizens to actively participate in improving the economic and social circumstances of all persons with disabilities (PWDs) in our society. The celebration of the NDPR Week 2023 with the theme, "Persons with Disabilities Accessibility and Rights: Towards a Sustainable Future where No One is Left Behind". The theme will focus on the equal opportunities and rights towards the inclusivity of persons with disabilities in our community. II. Objectives The project aims to: to provide students with a way to celebrate the NDPR Week 2023; equipped despite differences and give an equal opportunity in education, employment and livelihood that will make them empowered individuals; provides awareness and give hope by focusing on their needs and instilling in their young minds the sense of belongingness and inclusivity.
