Formal Writing Essay

Here are a few reasons why it may have been better to live in medieval times compared to modern times: 1. Simpler lifestyle. Life was less complicated and fast-paced. People's daily activities focused on basic survival like finding food, shelter, and clothing rather than managing complex schedules and technology. 2. Stronger community bonds. Communities were close-knit out of necessity. People relied on their neighbors and local lords for protection, resources, and support. This created a strong sense of community and belonging. 3. Less pollution and noise. The environment was less industrialized so there was less air, water, noise pollution compared to modern cities. People lived closer to nature. However

Formal Writing Essay

Crafting an essay on the subject of "Formal Writing Essay" can be a challenging endeavor, as it
requires a meticulous approach to language, structure, and presentation. Formal writing demands
precision and adherence to established rules of grammar, syntax, and style. The difficulty lies not
only in conveying ideas effectively but also in maintaining a tone that is serious, objective, and
suitable for the intended audience.

One of the primary challenges is striking the right balance between formality and engagement. It's
essential to avoid overly complex language that might alienate readers, while still upholding the
dignity and seriousness expected in formal writing. Additionally, the organizational aspect poses its
own set of difficulties. Arranging thoughts logically, constructing coherent paragraphs, and ensuring
a seamless flow from one idea to the next requires careful planning and attention to detail.

Furthermore, the need for thorough research can add to the complexity. A formal essay often
demands a solid foundation of well-supported arguments, data, or evidence. This involves not only
finding credible sources but also critically evaluating them to ensure their reliability.

Another facet that adds to the difficulty is the demand for originality. Crafting an essay that stands
out and offers fresh perspectives within the constraints of formal writing conventions can be a
daunting task. Striking this balance between conformity and creativity requires a nuanced
understanding of the topic and a keen awareness of the audience's expectations.

In conclusion, writing a formal essay presents a formidable challenge that encompasses linguistic
precision, structural coherence, extensive research, and a delicate balance between formality and
creativity. It's an intricate process that demands time, effort, and a deep understanding of both the
subject matter and the conventions of formal writing.

All-American Girls Professional Baseball League History
Secondary

All American Girls Professional Baseball League. League History. N.p., n.d. Web. 13
Dec. 2015.

In the fall of 1942, many minor league teams were lost to the war as men were being
drafted at 18 years old. With the financial support of Wrigley, the original All American
Girls Softball League emerged and was a non profit organization. The board had
changed the name to All American Girls Baseball League instead of softball. The way
that the girls were presented was of high priority and they had to keep their femininity
by going to a beauty salon. They also had to go to charm school where they would learn
everything from proper manners to personal hygiene. The team brought many people to
watch as they were interested ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Baseball was one of these things that women picked up to keep the game alive. In
1856, baseball became America s pastime. The league had strict rules for the women.
They had to wear lipstick, couldn t have short hair and take classes that teach them to
be charming. Pitchers for the league threw underhand. Many people attended the
games because they were interested in seeing girls play ball. It could be said that the
public opinion of people during this time about women was altered. Seeing them be
able to freely play sports and well proved that girls could have different roles. This source
was very good and helpful in explaining the roles of women in baseball during World
War 2 and the differences they faced compared to men.

Dottie Collins and Briggsie were two famous players. Briggs was the first woman
inducted into East Greenwich s Athletic Hall of Fame. Collins pitched in the AAGPBL
for 6 seasons. She had a very good career and could pitch both overhand and underhand
successfully. These are two women who were playing baseball during my time focus
and who were recognized historically. This was a very good source.

Christian Monologue
Christian, I needed to write you this to show you how much you mean to me.
However, no matter how many words I use, it won t be enough. Just the thought of
you makes me smile. And being in your arms is the best feelings in the world. From
the day we met and started talking, I knew there was something different about you.
From our first date, I could tell we were gonna be together for a while. And these past six
months have proven to me that we re going to last forever. I m so comfortable with you
and I feel like I can be more open than I ever have before. With you, I feel like I can do
anything. You ve become a big part of my life and I don t want that to EVER change. I
plan on being with you for as long as possible because you make me happy. I want what s
best for you and what makes you happy and if that s me, I m one lucky girl.... Show more

Neighbourhood Watch and Stolen
What are the various individual experiences the TWO plays explored within
Australian society? Neighbourhood watch explores the individual experiences:
Isolation all the characters carry an element of loneliness. Catherine is isolated
through the memory of Martin (previous boyfriend). Ken is isolated, in his own World
of Warcraft . Ana s angry temper leads her to live in isolation, stating Ana no trust
anyvon War the flashbacks into Ana s past through a non linear structure project Ana s
past of war in her previous country, Hungary. For example, the flashback where we see
a working nurse with a soldier who had lost his leg during the war. Loss Ana loses her

Through the non linear structure, this allows the audience the opportunity to see how the
characters present lives are intrinsically joined to their past. It also allows the characters
to be suspended in time so their lives seem linked even though none of the characters
were actually in the children s home at the same time. In Neighbourhood Watch a non
naturalistic performance style is used to allow the audience to make sense and develop
their understanding of the present characteristics of the characters. Flashbacks of the
main character are portrayed in non naturalistic form as we see Anna s friend Catherine
playing out the role of young Ana . This is evident in Act 1 Scene 10 and Act 1 Scene 16.
All three scenes require the Catherine to transform into a new character called Young Ana
as we flashback into the past scenes of Ana s imagination; this is evident in the texts stage
directions ARTUR speaks to CATHERINE now, as though she is the young ANA. The
real ANA steps slightly away to show the transformation of ANA into CATHERINE.
However the scenes are set within the setting of the present time, for instance, the text
stating Ana s home transforms into Hungary shows the non naturalistic setting of the
scenes. Both performance techniques are elements of the Non naturalistic performance
style and highly reflect the non naturalistic nature of the performance. Identify and

Why Is It Better To Live In Medieval Times
Today i will be talking about if it s better to live in the modern or medieval times i
think i would like to live in the medieval because of the less stress The laws are not the
best back then but there was a lot of torture and pain even tho there was not as much
stress and i wouldn t like the fact of its not that clean or easy back then some people
would fight what i said but they would not find the best things today it would still be
hard in this time and it could just be like back then just with different stuff and ways i
m not saying i don t like it now i m just saying it could be easier back then instead of
being in this time today i think i could live back in that time and do the things they did
but it just sounds more funner and
