RESEARCH TITLE:

Multiple Intelligence-Based Strategies to Boost the Reading Comprehension

Among Grade 6 Learners in District IX
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE RESEARCH:
The research on "Multiple Intelligence-Based Strategies to Boost the Reading
Comprehension Among Grade 6 Learners in District IX" is likely a study that explores
the application of Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences theory in enhancing reading
comprehension skills of sixth-grade students. This theory posits that individuals
possess various kinds of intelligence (such as linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical,
spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic) and that
these can be leveraged in educational settings. The study probably investigates how
tailored teaching methods that cater to these different intelligences can improve the
students' ability to understand and interpret text. It may involve developing and
implementing diverse instructional strategies and activities that align with the multiple
intelligences, and then assessing their impact on the reading comprehension abilities
of Grade 6 learners in District IX. This research would contribute to educational
practices by providing insights into how acknowledging and addressing the varied
learning preferences and strengths of students can enhance their academic
performance, specifically in reading comprehension.
The goal of education is to give students the chance to gain the information and
skills necessary to reach their full potential and grow into successful, well-behaved
adults in the community. In addition, education aims to develop people who are self-
aware, productive, and responsible citizens with a wide range of skills and the
necessary knowledge and skills for work.
In their capacity as learning facilitators, instructors' responsibilities extend to the
caliber of the teaching process, which helps to make both teaching and learning
rewarding and successful. Teachers are gifted, capable, and accomplished individuals
who can act, sing, dance, and do much more. It is true that educators serve as the best
mentors for students. In order to foster a learner-centered classroom, teachers must
adjust to each student's stage. They work tirelessly to improve learning results and
maintain students' interest in the material.
