Nursing Cs Complete Blood Count CBC 05

A complete blood count (CBC) provides information about the types and numbers of cells in the blood by analyzing a blood sample. It measures white blood cells, red blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelet levels. White blood cells fight infections. Red blood cells carry oxygen and carbon dioxide. Platelets help prevent bleeding. Abnormal CBC results can indicate conditions like infections, anemia, blood clots, and cancer. The CBC is an important test that provides valuable information about a person's health.
