Rationale and Objectives :
In support of DepEd’s commitment under R.A. 10354 or the
Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012, which mandates the institution to deliver a sustainable and age- and development-appropriate reproductive health education and training for educators to create an inclusive and integrated Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Education in formal, informal, and indigenous learning. The Adolescent Reproductive Health of Kapatagan National High School aims to:
1. Capacitate DepEd teaching personnel in adolescent
development and services for adolescent learners.
2. Improve teachers' understanding and knowldege to develop teaching skills
and integrate Adolescent Reproductive Health into relevant subjects especially MAPEH, Science, and Values Education.
Description of the Training
This training is intended for teachers of Kapatagan National High School. It is expected that this training will enhance teachers' understanding and knowldege to develop teaching skills and integrate Adolescent Reproductive Health into relevant subjects such as MAPEH, Science, and Values Education. Participants are expected to bring laptops during the training.
Participants: All Class advisers from Junior High School and Senior High School in Kapatagan National High School
