Proposal of School-Based LAC Session 0n ICT twice a month every 1:00 5:00 in the afternoon (August
18 & 25, September 8 & 22, October 6 & 13, 2017)

PROJECT PROPOSAL
I. Executive Summary
II. Rationale
Pursuant to DepEd Order No.35, s 2016,In line with the implementation of Republic
Act No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the Department of Education
(DepEd) issues the enclosed policy on the Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to 12 Basic
Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the
improvement of Teaching and learning.
In this connection, Pandan Elementary School will conduct its LAC Session to
disseminate/discuss the topics conducted in the 3-Day Division Training in preparation for the
implementation of the said program.
to improve the teaching-learning process that will lead to improved learning among
students;
to nurture successful teachers;
to enable teachers to support each other to continuously improve their content and
pedagogical knowledge,practice,skills and attitudes and;
Foster a professional collaborative spirit among school heads, teachers and community as
a whole.
Specific Objectives:
Teachers are well equipped with desired knowledge, skills and attitudes on Information
Communication Technology in teaching.
Enhanced ability in using ICT in teaching- learning process.
Build good rapport to co-teachers that will result commitment in mentoring and sharing
of teaching practices to improve classroom instruction.
III. Methodologies
The training will be conducted twice a month every 1:00-5:00 in the afternoon. It will be facilitated
by the proponent and technical working group. Training shall conducted through lecture, here oral
presentation shall be undertaken in order to present information, updates and knowledge about a particular
topic. A discussion shall be instituted; such will cater an interactive, spontaneous communication between
the lecturers and the participants. Lastly, an open forum shall be encouraged so that the lecturers and the
participants can openly exchange ideas and information about specific issues in order to reach an
agreement.

Training expenses and financial requirement of the training will be charged to Local School
fund/Canteen Fund/GPTA Fund.
A. Training Materials:
Executive Committee
Term of Reference: Reviews and Recommends the training proposal for the SDS Approval thru PSDS. This
committee also monitor on teachers application of learned skills
Planning Committee
Term of Reference: Identifies and list training requirements, seeks the approval of the training design, prepares and
sends necessary communications (memoranda, Invitation etc) procures the needed training supplies and equipment. Acts as the
training secretariat prepares training materials (reproduction of Handouts), distributes roles, and makes counter checks
preparation.
Resource Management Committee
Term of Reference: Leads the registration facilitates the opening ceremonies and closing program (ask impression to
the participants collates the results of the training evaluation, distributes certificates/appearances, introduces the resource
person, conducts documentation of training and collects output, prepares portfolio, safe keeping of extra materials.

This training train teachers in using Microsoft Offices in creating Instructional Materials in teaching.
