VII – Analysis of Accomplishment
Best Practices/Value – Added Value
1. The facilitators/resource speakers are District Science Coordinator and
School-Head in Charge for Science. They were the ones who attended the
Division level of the said Training on July 19-21, 2021 via Google Meet.
Besides the said resource speakers, the Proponent also invited ICT experts in
the District to be one of the Resource speakers in the Training. With the
interactions between the participants and resource speakers, the goals were
successfully achieved. Collaborative learning was also evident in the training.
2. There were several changes on Matrix of Activities as far as Scheduled Time
is concerned due miscommunication as to the start of the training and due to
power outage but they were amicably resolved.
Facilitating Factors/Reasons for Achieving Value – Added Contributions
1. The eagerness and desire to learn motivated the participants to acquire
ICT skills and skills in using assessment tools which made them come up
with impressive outputs.
Lessons Learned
Whether it is the mindset, the tech, the practice or something yet
unseen, what is certain is that change will continue to impact the
teachers and learners in the educational process. When it comes to
changes in assessment, teachers should always seek to better understand
the needs of each learner. Most importantly, teachers must always
remember that if we solicit data from learners, we have a moral
obligation to use that data to directly benefit those learners.
VIII- Decisions/agreements/Next Step
As implementers of the curriculum, the participants whole-heartedly pledged
that the skills they acquired in the training will be enhanced and will benefit the
learners to improve the performance level in Science.
The participants also suggested topics for further trainings which they can help
them in the teaching- learning process and help them adjust to this new normal
of education.
