Analiza el siguiente ejemplo. Este texto es expositivo, ya que explica, informa o describe experiencias, hechos, situaciones y/o acciones.
(1) The insurance company Hyperion has analyzed accident statistics and has found that there are more insurance claims for accidents on January 8th than any other day. (2) Accidents are certainly more likely to occur at particular times of year. (3) One general rule is that more accidents happen in winter months, because risk increases in bad weather. (4) In 2004 and 2005 Hyperion found that the worst day was January 8th, with 298 motoring accidents reported to them. (5) March 3rd was statistically the safest day, with only 89 reports. (6) Be careful on January 8th – it’s officially the most dangerous day of the year. (7) Six of the ten worst days for motoring were in January. (8)It’s obvious that icy and snowy conditions are dangerous, but some other statistics are more puzzling.(9) A British Medical Journal report in 2001, for example, found hospital admissions were always higher than usual on Friday 13th.(10) _________, is not only when Friday falls on the 13th that it is a dangerous day. (11)Four of the top ten worst days for accidents last years were Fridays – perhaps because everyone is rushing home for the weekend – while Thursday are the safest day of the week.(12) At what time of day is an accident most likely to occur? (13) Analysis by the Health and Safety Authority found that people are most likely to have an accident at 11:00 a.m., whereas the safest time of day between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. – probably because most people are in bed!

1. La oración introductoria. Si no hay una, es posible que esta sea un punto que se va a evaluar. 2. La división de párrafos (dónde inicia un cada nodo temático. 3. La oración que rompe la coherencia del texto. 4. Los nexos que faltan y cómo sería posible completar ese espacio. Para esto, es necesario que identifiques la relación que existe entre la oración antes del espacio y la que le sigue.

Texto informal Un texto informal tiene características y objetivos diferentes al texto informal. Algunos ejemplos de estos textos son: lista de pendientes, cartas o correos electrónicos informales, recetas de cocina, notas o mensajes. Las partes que las constituyen también son diferentes, aunque todas cumplen con un objetivo comunicativo. Analiza este ejemplo:
