 Answer the following questions:
Are the learning principles applied by the teacher appropriate with the nature of the learners and learning conditions?
     Why or why not?
Yes, the learning principles applied by the teacher is appropriate with the nature of the learners and
learning conditions because he begins with the setting of clear and high expectations of learning
outcomes. Moreover, the teaching-learning process is student centered wherein the teacher
established a learning environment that encourages active engagement to helps students develop an
understanding of their own as learners. He also applies the principle that is the discovery of personal

Did you observe passive learners? If yes, what might be their reasons why they are passive/silent?
Yes, I observed passive learners. For this reason, some of them are reluctant or hesitant to share their
ideas about the topic. There are some students who are not raising their hands to recite, especially
when the teacher wants someone to read the text in the presentation and share their insights. They
just tend to listen to their active classmates and participate in the discussion.
Are the communication strategies used by the teacher appropriate to the level of the learners? Justify your answer.
The communication strategies used by the teacher is appropriate to the level the learners because he
utilized words in the discussion that the learners could easily understand the topic. He respects the
opinions or insights of the learners wherein he considers the level of understand and clarify
ambiguities by rephrasing their answers if needed for greater understanding.

       learning?
If I were the teacher, the possible learning principle/s or strategy/ies that I would apply to 7
elicit meaningful learning are first, enhancing the atmosphere of cooperation and
collaboration so that the learners could collectively share their insights and learn from their
peers. Second, providing activities that considers the individual differences of the learners
according to their learning styles and multiple intelligences. Lastly, making strategies that
can increase the motivation of the learners by making clear of my objectives; engaging my
students in self-assessment; practicing criterion-referenced assessment rather than norm-
referenced assessment; inspiring my students to have mastery focus rather than
performance focus; and encouraging them to have “growth mindset”

           1. Among the principles of learning, which one is the most important for you? Substantiate your answer.
For me to become an effective teacher you need all these principles of learning to serve
total knowledge and be able to give the best learning experience for my student. That’s why
I need all the and not just one principle. For each principle we must incorporate necessary
teaching techniques to ensure active participation, collaboration and lastly the learning
environment that is appropriate for the learners.
           2. What insight did you learn from the class activities that you have observed?
I’ve learned that I should maintain a positive approach in learning. Keep learners engaged in
every activity and make sure that all your learners can actively participate in and gain
knowledge. We must consider the relevance of the activity to your topic or lesson. I must
also contemplate our learner’s diversity when it comes to their learning capabilities.
