Include the following in your report, respectively:
1- Cover page

2- Objective:

a brief description of the aim of the experiment.

3- Introduction:

Important terms definitions and abbreviation, importance of experiment, equations used.


Clarify any symbol you use and its unit. This section must be, to some extent, detailed.

4- Apparatus and Material:

Equipment and materials used in the experiment.

5- Procedure

Write down steps followed in the lab to do the experiment.

6- Results and Sample of Calculations (Include any related: Tables, Graphs, Relationships...):

Include readings obtained from laboratory , substitute values in equations and show units , show any
related graphs using graph- paper , show relationships between two specific terms “ proportional or
adversely related..etc

7- Discussion:

Discuss the results you got, state if they are reasonable, show error percentages, include possible
reasons behind errors, and compare results. You may also wish to describe ways the study might have
been improved.

8-Conclusions:

It should be a single paragraph that sums up numerical results obtained compared to real known values
or ranges.

*YOUR REPORT MUST BE NEAT AND CLEAN.

*YOUR REPORT MUST BE WRITTEN IN A WAY THAT ANYONE, WHO IS NOT A MECHANICAL ENGINEER,
CAN CLEARLY UNDERSTAND THE EXPERIMENT.

*DO NOT WRITE ON THE BACK OF THE PAPER.

*HANDING OVER EACH REPORT WILL BE ONLY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FOLLOWING LAB.
