I. OBJECTIVE Evaluate own limitations and the possibilities for their transcendence. ( PPT11/12-Ig-3.2)
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to do the following:
1. Identify traits that distinguish them as a human person/being;
2. Recognize their own limitations and possibilities; and
3. Evaluate own limitations and the possibilities for their transcendence.
II. SUBJECT MATTER
A. Concept/ Ideas Philosophy teaches us to evaluate own limitations and the possibilities for their
transcendence.

D. Presentation In todays’ lesson, we will evaluate own limitations and the possibilities for
Transcendence with the following examples FORGIVENESS, THE BEAUTY OF
NATURE, VULNERABILITY, FAILURE, LONELINESS & LOVE. (Edwards 1983)
E. Activity Proper In the alloted time of fifteen (15) minutes, the class will be divided into 3
groups to build a strong and tall paper tower using ten (10) used/recycled
bondpapers and without using paste, stapler or other materials.
F. Analysis What is your reflection and feelings when building a strong and tall paper tower?
G. Abstraction/ Why we have to evaluate our own limitations/weaknesses? And how can we
Generalization transcends to our limitations/weakness?
H. Applications 1. As a learner, how important to evaluate our own limitations? 2.
How can we overcome this limitations/weaknesses? 3. How can
we apply this in our daily living or real life situation?
