Tuesday

Most of the time I don’t like working In groups because some people don’t pull their weight and I don’t
like to talk to people in general. But it still has some benefits when working with a large project. I pretty
much didn’t do anything the whole time and it seemed that nothing went wrong other than bickering
over which songs should be on there. I’m pretty sure none of my songs got placed on there and most of
the songs are alright to me but I have different tastes in music.

Wednessday

1. Berserker by Emmy Laybourne- I read the complete series of monument 14 and it was a fun
read, so I want to read some of her other books. It’s about a girl that pretty much lost her entire
family and is about to lose her brother but has been gifted with berserker that makes her go on
a killing spree to protect her brother or anyone she fells dear to her.
2. Project hail Mary by Andy weir- By the description and title it seems that the space engineer
whose dealing with an extinction level event is going on a Wim to save it. Sounds very
interesting about what will happen. I’m guessing that whatever station he’s getting sucked into
earth and he’s one of few or the only engineer that could possibly save the craft or station.
3. Level up by craig Anderson- A book about if life turned into a videogame, and the world is
basically a giant dungeon for him to get through in master difficulty, not sure if it’s just him
though. It reminds me of ready player one and a lot of animes that have this topic.
4. Donovan series by W. Michael Gear- A seemingly perfect planet called Donovan that is hard to
get to which resulted in the first colony to dismantle itself because of the lack of supply’s to
properly treat and protect themselves nor the technology to do so. By reading the description it
this seems to be a third person point of view but one of the main characters is a psychopath that
wants to be on the planet so I wonder what he’ll do to get what he wants and I wonder what
will become of the colony.
5. The silent patient by Alex Michaelides- Crazy painter that shoots her husband and never speaks
a word again ends up in the hands of Theo Faber, a criminal psychotherapist. The wonder of
why she did it and why she isn’t talking is interesting and by the description, her not talking has
risen the price of her artwork, so I wonder if her artwork wasn’t selling before this incident and
maybe she was going into debt, so she devised a plan to get people to buy her artwork or she’s
crazy for fame.
6. High crime area: tales of darkness and dread Joyce carol oats- she connects three different
books, all of which is of the perspectives of different characters in the same situation. a brother
and sister, a teacher and student, two strangers on a subway all take part in this event and each
book takes on two people, the teacher and the student or the brother and sister or the two
strangers. I love books that have intertwine the story’s, they usually cover mostly everything
about the characters and their thoughts and perspectives.
7. On the train by Paul Hawkins- Book about a girl that rides the same train everyday and catches
glimpses of other peoples lives that she envies, then something happens, and she gets to be
apart of that and be something more than what she is now. Not a very detailed on what
happens but if that something is like but from the reviews, the interactions and conversations is
real funny, I wouldn’t mind giving this one a read.
