Activity
Present a short paragraph. Call volunteer to read it in front of the class.

Father and I visited my grandparents in San Julian last April. The place is a coastal
town along the Pacific Ocean. The men are mostly fishermen and farmers. Most of the boys
and girls are good swimmers and divers. My cousins taught me to swim and to catch fish.
The weather was good the whole month long, so we caught plenty of fish every day.
Grandmother dried some fish which we brought home after our vacation. We also brought
home “tikug” mats with beautiful designs. Aunt Noemi, my father’s sister, wove a mat with
my name on it. We brought home many other things.
