Issues & concerns : Purchases of some logistics still on process due to lack of funds
Some spot map don’t have legend on the high risk brgys, low
coverage on fully immunized children, GIDA areas, location of
RHU, BHS.
Enhance supervisory plan that includes strategies and
monitoring on high risk / GIDA areas
Vaccines hesitancy of some mothers
Recommendations : Coordinate with LGU, BLGU officials to lobby support for
funding
Microplans needs some data, such as creation of vaccination
teams /schedules / areas to reach the 80% in two weeks.
Spot map legend maybe by color coding that are users friendly,
with target pop, Tracking board is visible to monitoring team
Contingency plan is also recommended for cold chain
management
Coordinate to the Regional NIP Manager on the cold dogs and
vaccine carriers
Strengthened demand generations for social mobilization,
coordinate religious groups, high officials in the barangays to
help encourage /motivate parents to submit their children for
vaccination.

Purpose of Activity : To report / feedback MRSIA- OPV monitoring conducted at the
different brgys. of Cotabato Province on some issues observed
and recommendations done
Highlights : Presentation of reports done during the conduct of MRSIA –
OPV monitoring on the observation of target versus the
accomplishments, issues that were encountered, best practices
and recommendations to solve issues.
Issues & concerns : Target – 128,744
Vaccinated target children did not reach the 95 %
Children with no Vaccination Cards
Refusals due to vaccine hesitancy and religious belief
Lack of BLGU support due to budgetary constraints.

No whereabouts and schedule of immunization in the BHS
Recommendations : Advised/recommend to re visit the microplan and re strategized
Advised guardians to bring their previous routine vaccination

Purpose of Activity : Conduct monitoring and technical assistance during MR-OPV
SIA
Highlights : House to house monitoring and check if the children are already
vaccinated thru verifying the vaccination card and the mark of the
pinky right finger.
Gave feedbacks to the MHO, Nurses if found children not
vaccinated for the catch up vaccination
Issues & concerns : Some parents will not open the door and hide the child for they
don’t want the child to be vaccinated
Recommendations : Advised/recommend to re visit the microplan and re strategized

health programs, technical assistance/validation of Score
card 2022, Rabies Awareness Month Activity, MR-SIA pre
implementation planning and activities, pre bid conference of
the proposed Super RHU of Aleosan and Tulunan,
Highlights : All LGUs are preparing the scorecard
Rabies Awareness Advocacy was conducted by the PHO in
coordination with LGU Tulunan since they are the highest
cases reported in the province, aim to advocate the residents of
Tulunan to be aware on rabies of dog that is fatal to human
when beaten, how to manage when beaten and be responsible
pet owner.
