My name is Andy Siesquen Guerra, and when I finished high school, I had a different choice
about the career I was going to study in the university. I wanted to go to Medical School
because being a surgeon is my biggest dream, but studying Medicine is very expensive. In that
case, I became interested in how processes are managed and developed in companies, and that is
why I chose to study Industrial Engineering.
Working and studying at the same time has its own advantages and disadvantages, but it’s the
most amazing experience you can ever have. The most important advantage is you can gain
experience from working, also, your work friends became your new family. However, you have
less time to spend with your family and university friends. In addition, you can get money
without being asking for it, that is good because you became more independent. In the other
hand, you realize that the adult life is very expensive. This is another of the most important
advantages about working and studying at the same time is that you become more organized.
This means, you can distribute your time between university and work. In the other hand, that
organized time becomes heavier and it can´t be enough for getting a good sleep or eating.
In conclusion, you can get a lot of experiences from working and studying at the same time.
You can feel yourself as an almost grown person and that is the best sensation ever. Even when
you feel tired and stressed, always remember every sacrifice has its own recompense.

My name is, the choice of my career took place because of what I am passionate about doing
whether it is assembling a computer or learning about computer security. Seeing and informing
myself about computer science and security was what motivated me to pursue a career as a
systems and computer engineer.
Working and studying can be very complicated for most students who have never worked and
studied at the same time. However, doing these two things at the same time generates that we
gain work experience, on the other hand this generates that in the future we know how to
organize our time and control the stress that this can generate. For example, a person who
decides to work to pay for his studies generates incomes and generates self-confidence at the
time of completing his career will find it easy to look for a job because he would have a good
CV. In my opinion, working and studying is a challenge that all students should take as a
challenge because it will help us much later when we finish our university career.
With this work we can conclude that every student should be able to have the opportunity to
work and study to gain work experience, so that in the future they know how to organize their
time and the stress that this generates.
