Definite Integrals
If a function 𝑓 is defined on the closed interval 𝑎, 𝑏 , then the definite integral

To find the exact value of a definite integral, we need to use the Fundamental
Theorem of Calculus which states that:
If a function 𝑓 is continuous on the interval 𝑎, 𝑏 and 𝐹 is any antiderivative of 𝑓, then
