INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE
Course Objectives
The course seeks to provide students with a
basic level of familiarity with several aspects of
Geographic Information Systems/Sciences and
data analysis.
The course will
1. provide an understanding of basic skills
necessary to work with GIS and data analysis,
2. introduce students to softwares and
techniques, and
3. teach spatial data visualization methods along
with introductory knowledge of effective data
analysis.
