Macro Perspective of Tourism and Hospitality

Read the following scenario and respond with text or attachment. (20 points).

Thalia wants to relax at the beach with a budget that must not exceed P4,000. She saw a three (3) days
and two (2) nights La Union tour package on a Facebook post costing P3,500. The package includes full
board meals, accommodation, transportation, and entrance fees to attractions within the area. She
immediately contacted BGC Tours (the travel agency) to purchase the tour package. In response to this,
BGC Tours will contact AC Beach Resort to check for resources (e.g., facilities, amenities, and meals) and
Raya Transport to check the availability of seats in the vehicle. The agency will then get back to the
customer to confirm the slot and proceed with the payment of the products and services at the
destination.
