Activity 3. My Masterpiece Performance Task #1: Create your own Impressionist Artwork: Impasto, means texture painting or applying heavy paint on the canvas with the use of spatula or knife aside from paintbrush.
Materials: ¼ illustration board or chipboard
Tubes of acrylic paints (can be shared with the classmates) Paintbrushes Wooden popsicle sticks Pencil Rags for clean up Procedure: 1. Think of a unique design for the artwork that you are making. Decide on what colors to be used. 2. Sketch your temporary design or the outline of your artwork on an illustration board or a chipboard using a pencil. 3. Using the brush, apply the color paint of your choice and gradually make it thicker using Popsicle sticks. Then you can directly apply the paint from its tube in small or certain areas. 4. Let the paint dry on its own before putting it into display.
