Statement of purpose
My name is Malik Muhammad Ahmed, and I am from Jan pur, Pakistan. I am writing this statement of
purpose in excitement and great hope in support of my student visa to your good office. It is my desire
to study in fully sophisticated and developed environment. This letter is to describe you how much
confident I am with my decision to study MSC Project Management at The University of West Scotland
London Campus, United Kingdom.
I’m a responsible and dedicated person. I have taught myself to be tough and hardworking plus
consistent and how to be successful in my life. I have completed my Bachelor of Business Accounting
from King’s Own Institute Australia in 2021 and currently working at AL-Hamd Real Estate & Builder.
I am currently working as an Accountant at AL-Hamd Real Estate & Builder. During the whole tenure
of my Bachelors, I worked as Research assistant with one of my professor. The mainly focused area of
the research was project management. I am fully inspired by that research work as it gave me
uncountable technical as well as soft skills like project scheduling, agile software, scrum management,
meeting facilitation, financial modelling, Kanban, and performance tracking, and interpersonal skills. At
that time, I got an idea that Project management is a client-focused process that significantly increases
the probability of providing the desired results to the client. It can help an accountant like me to plan
resources more effectively and ensure that work is delivered to clients in a timely manner. So, I planned
to work somewhere where I can implement my skills.
As an accountant in the long-lasting reputation company of the Pakistan, my job responsibilities include
to have lead and administrate the team of the finance department to record and schedule the transactions
of exports of the company.
By doing MSC in project Management, I can significantly enhance my technical skills such as
scheduling, budget analysis, and risk management. Also, it develops other soft skills in me, including
leadership qualities and relationship building. I strongly believe that it is time now to acquire enhanced
understanding of Project Management in a highly ranked UK university where I would get chances to
learn more and in better ways.

FAMILY TIES
I am considered a very responsible and mature personality among my family. They have always taught
me to face my problems myself and they never doubted my abilities. My father has supported my
decisions and always stood beside me. I have always listened and respected to the decisions they have
took for me. My father is a landlord and owns lands in Junpur (District Rahim Yar Khan). I have two
brothers and three sisters.
MY FUTURE PLANS
I have always graded learning and education as extremely significant part of my life. During my
professional experience, I have witnessed that after acquiring relevant skills career shifts to new level in
terms of promotion and financial gains. My vision is to complete my degree, return to Pakistan and excel
as Project Manager in multinational company. I believe my international academic experience and
degree would be very much beneficial for my practical life. Foreign qualifications from reputed
international institution are very well regarded among employers in my country so after my Masters in
project Management and my work experience, I will become an ideal candidate and I seek many
opportunities in huge Multinational organizations. I will pursue my careers in industries like
manufacturing and service sectors, supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics. Together with
my previous academic qualification, corporate work experience and a united kingdom degree in hand
will place me ahead of other candidates for positions in top employers around the globe such as
Amazon, Unilever, Coca Cola, Pepsi Co, Nestle and others. The estimated salary will be Rs 3,000,000
per annum of the project manager in the well- reputed firms. It will also benefit me to be first choice of
employers in Pakistan as development of CPEC has attracted top firms to start operations in Pakistan
and my degree in Project management will highlight me in the candidate pool and put me on my chosen
career path to become a successful project manager with a reputable salary in the industry.
