Field Density Test by Core Cutter

This document reports the results of 3 soil samples tested to determine their field dry density using a core cutter method. For each sample, the weight of the wet soil and core cutter, empty core cutter, volume of the core, weight of wet soil, bulk density, moisture meter reading, moisture content, dry density and percentage compaction are recorded. The maximum dry density against which compaction percentage is calculated is also noted.
