Note for STS Testing

1. The meter can be used to store electric unit (kWh) or electric currency using either EA 07 or EA 11 as the decryption algorithm, but by default (in
manufacturing mode) the meter is used to store electric currency in IDR and utilize EA 11 as the decryption algorithm. To adjust the meter to
preset for STS test type D, E, F using either electric unit or currency and utilizing either EA 07 or EA 11, follow the guides below.
a. Electric currency / monetary consumption (IDR by default):
i. Meter by default already in this state.
ii. Run script ID 33, 34, or 35 on script object OBIS_SCRIPT_MFG (logical name = 0-0:10.0.154.255) to set meter to STS test
preset type D, E, or F
iii. Run script ID 36 or 37 to set decryption algorithm to EA07 or EA11 (on the same script object).
b. Electric unit (kWh):
i. Run script ID 41 on script object OBIS_SCRIPT_MFG (logical name = 0-0:10.0.154.255) to set meter to store electric unit (kWh)
ii. Run script ID 38, 39, or 40 on the same script object to set meter to STS test preset type D, E, or F
iii. Run script ID 36 or 37 to set decryption algorithm to EA07 or EA11 (on the same script object).
2. Numeric keypad has 10 seconds timeout, after that all character written on LCD will be erased
3. The condition in which the meter is ready to receive input from keypad:
a. For credit top-up: wait around 7 seconds
b. For others: when the currency unit (IDR in this case) appeared on the top left LCD in the prepaid mode or the equivalent display that
occurred when LCD mode is in normal state in postpaid mode
4. When top-up success LCD will display the 'Accept' response followed by the value that being inserted to the meter
5. Script ID (from class = 9, obis code = 0.0.10.0.154.255) needed to run for testing STS:
a. Type D: script id 33
b. Type E: script id 34
c. Type F script id 35
6. KCT process will reset if:
a. Timeout (2 minutes)
b. 4 KCT set has been inserted (be it accepted or rejected)
7. All KCT related to DCT will be rejected by the meter with "not valid" response
8. Meter by default is in post-paid mode, to change it to pre-paid mode run the activate account method using DLMS Action with ID class = 111 (obis
code: 0.0.19.0.0.255), attribute id = 1, parameter = integer, and script id = 0. To change it back to postpaid mode, run the DLMS action with the
same parameters except with attribute id = 2
9. Activate account method will also change the monitored parameter in the limiter class to INSTANTANEOUS_ACTIVE_IMPORT_POWER
10. Clear tamper will refer to error register from eeprom_alarm_t, but for the time being the error registered isn't being integrated yet with the tamper
condition (correct me if I wrong)
11. Max power phase unbalance limit will control the result of check_phase_unbalance function from event_detector.c
12. DRN value are obtained from device id 5, but for the time being this device id isn't being used yet, so the data that appear on LCD when Test 18
from Initiate Meter Test is executed will be random
13. Token Class 2 Sub-Class 10 isn't supported (yet)
14. Max credit is set to 999999.99 (equal to Rp999.999,99 for the time being)
15. Max vend is set at a higher value than max credit, so the only limiter for the credit top-up came from Max credit which is stated in number 13

Any further question regarding STS testing can be asked directly to me.
