                                         PROBLEM            A growing percentage of students are failing to complete

                                                            the teacher's overloading of lesson activities, homework or
                                                            performance tasks.

METHODS
                                         RESPONDENTS:               The participants of this research are the selected
                                                            Grade 9 English Students in Cabuyao Integrated National
                                                            High School who are considered failing to complete and
                                                            submit graded activities and tasks in English on time.
                                                            These students need intervention to develop their learning
                                                            retention and mastery by reducing workload given by the
                                                            teacher. Purposive sampling will be utilized in this study
                                                            since the participants will be selected in a non-random
                                                            manner and identified by the researcher based on their
                                                            degree of capabilities. The respondents will be identified
                                                            upon the assessment of the teacher based on the
                                                            students' previous submissions of learning outputs in
                                                            Google Classroom.
                                         SOURCE OF                 The researchers will collect data using a self-made
                                         DATA:              questionnaire, which will be completed by respondents
                                                            both before and after the intervention program. After the
                                                            data has been collected, tabulation and analyses will be
                                                            conducted using the selected data analysis tool to obtain
                                                            the study’s findings.

GATHERING          reducing school workload to the learning
PROCEDURE:         retention and mastery of Grade 9 English students.
                   In this study, the researchers will gather the data through a
                   self-made pretest and post test questionnaire. It will be
                   followed by the utilization of the intervention program
                   “Reducing GRAsP Strategy”. This will be introduced by the
                   researchers during the English class. The utilization of the
                   program will run for a week of synchronous class.
                   After the intervention program is fully administered and the
                   post test is conducted, the researchers will compare the
                   findings of the administered pretest and posttest to identify
                   if there are significant difference of the student’s scores.
