UP DRIVE 2021

I. RATIONALE

Republic Act No. 10742 or Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 provides that every
barangay, municipality, city and province shall conduct an annual activity to be known as the
Linggo ng Kabataan on the week where the 12 th of August falls to coincide with the International
Youth Day.
Every aims for a clean environment. As a Chairman of the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Lonoy Cainsican together with my SK Officials it is our duty and responsibility to take part in the
environment protection awareness. We aspire to give inspiration to the community to come up
with this program to maintain, be responsible and take part in protecting our environment, be
aware of what issues happening in our country

II. OBJECTIVES

The purpose of this activity is to engage the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Lonoy Cainsican to
engage in taking care of the environment as the foundation of everybody’s needs and the health
of the community. There is nothing more important in having a clean and green environment.
For the Katipunan ng Kabataan members aged 15 – 30 years old to:
 to discover who the future leaders are
 be aware of what issues happening in our country
 to develop awareness on how alarming climate change is
 to facilitate activities that will develop environmental protection awareness

III. PARTICIPANTS

The activity will be participated by the Youth/Katipunan ng Kabataan of Lonoy Cainsican


and shall be attended by the Guest Speaker from the DENR, KKDAT Inabanga and a
representative for the health sector in our municipality.

V. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

An amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos chargeable from SK funds will be expended to cover the
following:

Lunch 60 pax x Php 200 = P12,000.00


Snacks 60 pax x Php 150 = P 9,000.00
Token/Honoraria for the Speakers 4 Speaker x Php 2000 = P 8,000.00
Stage Decoration = P 5,000.00
Stage Decorator Honoraria = P 5,000.00
Tarpaulin = P 2,000.00
Honoraria MC = P 5,000.00
Hand Sanitizer 80 pax x Php 50 = P 4,000.00

TOTAL: PHP 50,000.00

VI. RESPONSIBILITY

The conduct of the activity shall be the responsibility of the Sangguniang Kabataan.
